the Zentradi Female Battle Armor from Robotech®

The Queadluun Rau is the giant battle armor worn by the elite female pilots in the epic series, Robotech®, and the orignal Macross® saga Robotech® was created from. Here the armor is shown firing both sets of it's arm-slung triple lasers, as well as the dual heavy cannons mounted in the chest.

To keep with the original, hand-animated look, the Queadluun Rau armor was rendered in to look like a cartoon instead of photoreal. Vision Scape Imaging's Silhouette shader for Lightwave was invaluable for creating this effect.
